Since we launched our new emporium at Design Quarter, Johannesburg, we have enjoyed collaborating with like-minded brand Plascon, through their Spaces Showroom also located at Design Quarter. The showroom is aligned and associated with the Plascon Spaces Magazine and turns the pages of the cutting edge magazine into a physical presence at The Showroom.
The ever changing “Stage” at The Showroom offers industry leading designers the opportunity to showcase to customers what the latest design trends are through a visual display area alongside the latest paint colours and techniques. Which is why we are thrilled to have been invited to be a part of the design of two stages at the showroom.
The latest display, running from January until March 2016 is inspired by the earth, where we used natural and raw materials in a new light. The beauty of the planet is translated into textural interiors, contrasting rough and smooth, raw and crafted. The paint colour used was Plascon Savanna R3-E2-3, the perfect delicate shade of nude to create a nurturing and welcoming space.
Isabelina supplied the couch, occasional chairs, lamps, chandelier, stools and table accessories.
The artwork was supplied by Ritzi with the exclusive body of works created by Shiralee Siebert. The images have a 3D effect of coming out of the canvas, requiring a considerable amount of experimentation as the artists sought to portray each animal and scene in the mediums and techniques that would best reflect their unique beauty.
We thank Claire Bond, Plascon’s Brand Ambassador and Stylist as well as The Plascon Spaces Showroom for selecting Isabelina as one of their decor partners
We were also a part of another stage a few months back when the Plascon Spaces team celebrated the art of staying positive. They used the colour gold artfully by introducing it into the window accessories.
It is said that for those seeking success, relaxation, or an increase in personal power can rely on the energy of gold to give strength and confidence as well as help to keep an optimistic outlook to see the year out.
