2 December 2015
December is the busiest yet also the most fabulous time of the year at Isabelina. Not only do we go about our work humming “It’s the most wonderful time of the year”, but we also get to unveil some of our most swoon-worthy décor items and accessories that will impress the most seasoned gift buyer.
This year I have rounded up a few of our finest gift items – whether you are on the look out for a well-deserved teachers gift, a gift for a friend who has everything or for that special loved one, you’re bound to find something unique at Isabelina.
For the entertainer
The festive season is the entertainer’s favourite time of the year. I know because I am one! We have a beautiful range of new items in-store that will make your guests wonder how you do it.
My favourite range this year is our handmade ceramic entertainers collection that is understated yet perfectly chic. Impress guests with the olive boat and jacaranda spoon, ceramic folded dish trio, olive oil and balsamic pourers, and small jugs.
Our colourful handmade ceramic range is quirky and makes the perfect gift with a special message for your loved one. This year my favourites are the sushi platter and ramekin and the milk jug and sugar bowl set. The message on each says it all! We have a wide variety in this range including platters, bowls, cake dishes, teacups and jugs.
For the formal dinner party you won’t go wrong with a matching range of silverware accessories for the table. I love the glass and nickel napkin holder, as I always seem to struggle to find a formal napkin holder for a smart dinner. Finish off your table with a silver tray for serving and our nickel bottle opener and cheese knife. We have a dedicated area in each shop with more formal dinner table accessories that are bound to have you dreaming of dinner parties and dressing up for the occasion!
For the glam goddess
If the lady in your life loves all things glamorous, glitzy and gorgeous, then you will find a trove of treasures at Isabelina. We have just unpacked a brand new range of evening handbags and purses and they are simply beautiful. I love the flat leather button wallet, available in 3 colours – it is slim but has ample space for credit cards and change. And to cope with the festive season’s social demands, take your pick from our glittering evening purses and clutches. See more here.
Accessorize your day and nighttime outfits with our triple leather summer bracelets. I love the colours and enjoy wearing a bracelet that moves from day to night.
Another great gift on my radar for the woman (or man) who has everything is the travel mirror. I travel a lot and this is something that comes in handy on the plane and whilst travelling to and from meetings. It folds up neatly and can be tucked away in your handbag when not in use.
We have yet to meet a man that does not love our watch boxes. The one that I suggest is the four-watch holder, as I really love to have all my watches in one place ready to pair with my outfit. This is also a lovely gift for the ladies. Another great gift for him is the revolving remote control holder. Need we say more?
For the décor lover
Our home ware and décor accessories this season will make any homeowner swoon. We have just unveiled our brand new cushion covers filled with down inners, made from leather hide with a touch of embellishment – a striking accessory for a sofa or on your bed.
One can never go wrong with a well-chosen photo frame. We have a range of minimalist rose gold and silver frames in various sizes as well as more ornate frames for the traditionalist.
Candles may be thought of as the boring option for a gift but not the range we have this year. Our copper and glass scented candles not only look beautiful unlit, but the unique scents will bring a magical aroma into your home during the summer months.
These are a few suggestions from me, but in-store we have a wide variety of gifts just waiting to be someones treasure, wrapped and embellished with our signature Isabelina packaging.
